How Do Hide and Show Fields in Digitised Forms?
The Form Builder module has a range of tools that can be used when creating forms. These tools include an ‘Input Visibility’ feature. This feature allows the user creating the form to hide or show fields of their choice depending on the answer given to others.
To use the Input Visibility feature:
- On the left column, go to settings and click Form Builder.
- Select the tools that are relevant to the form you are creating.
- Click the toggle icon in the top right corner.
In the Input Visibility section, there are two options:
- Visible: this means the field will remain visible as long as the option is not selected.
- Invisible: this means the field will remain hidden and will only show if the option is selected.
- Select the field you would like to show/hide input from the dropdown options.
- Select the value(s).
- Click close.
