How Do I Access and Upload Help Videos?
The system has a variety of videos explaining different elements of the system. Administrators can add personalised help videos by creating their videos externally and uploading them to their portal.
To Access Help Videos:
- On the left column, go to the Help module.
- In the ‘dulann General Help Entries’ section, there are a variety of videos that can be viewed by clicking on the videos.
- To filter the videos by module, choose the module you want to see videos on by selecting from dropdown options at the top of the page.
To add Help Videos:
- On the left column, go to the Help module.
- Click ‘+New Help’.
- Enter the name, description, and URL.
- The URL can be copied from a separate website that the video has been uploaded on, such as Loom or YouTube. It is important to remember to use embed URL, for example - https://www.loom.com/embed/235256
- Select the Module from the dropdown options.
- Tick the box ‘Visible by Subcontractors’ if you want subcontractors to have access to the video.
- Click ‘Save & Submit’.
- The videos can be accessed in the ‘Custom Help Entries’ section.
Options are available to filter videos that appear:
- See All – see all videos that include dulann general help and custom general help videos.
- See dulann General Help – see only the dulann general help videos.
- See Custom – see only custom help videos.
The ‘Manage Custom Help’ section allows you to edit and delete custom videos. It is important to note that when this video is deleted, it is permanently deleted and cannot be recovered. This section can be accessed by clicking the tab at the top of the page.
- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields.
- A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work.
