How Do I Add a Driver to a Vehicle?

 

You can add existing users to vehicles. This will allow them to use the vehicle and carry out inspections on the vehicle. Users that have been added to vehicles can upload required documents and see details about the vehicle.

 

  • On the left menu, click ‘Vehicles’.
  • Click on the vehicle you want to add drivers to.
  • Scroll down to the 'Drivers' section.
  • Click 'Allocate/Deallocate Drivers'.
  • Two sections will show ‘Select to Add’ and ‘Select to Remove’ with a list of people on the system.
  • Tick the box(es) you wish to add/remove.
  • You also have the option to select all, click on the blue tick at the top of the page.
  • To deselect all, click on the red ‘X’ at the top of the page.
  • Click the arrow button.
  • Click 'Close'.


The drivers you have selected will now be added to the vehicle.


This is required before you can add drivers to a vehicle:

  • Set up Employees.
  • Set up Vehicles.
