How Do I Enrol a Learner in a Course?

Administrators can manually enrol learners to a course from the 'Courses' module or the 'People' module on the system. Learners can also be enrolled in a course automatically if a course has been allocated to a project, location or role which users have also been allocated to and the course is required.


To enrol a learner to a course from the Courses module:

  1. On the left column, go to 'Courses'.
  2. Click on the course you want to enrol the learner(s).
  3. Click on the course 'Certificate' tab.
  4. Scroll down to 'Trainees'.
  5. Click 'Assign/Unassign Trainees Manually'.
  6. Two sections will show ‘Select to Add’ and ‘Select to Remove’ with a list of people.
  7. Tick the box(es) you wish to add/remove.
  8. You also have the option to select all people, click on the blue tick at the top of the page.
  9. To deselect all people, click on the red ‘X’ at the top of the page.
  10. Click the arrow button.


To enrol learners to a course from the People module:

  1. On the left column, go to 'People'.
  2. Click on the user you want to enrol.
  3. Scroll down to 'Courses'.
  4. Click 'Assign/Unassign Courses Manually'.
  5. Two sections will show ‘Select to Add’ and ‘Select to Remove’ with a list of people.
  6. Tick the box(es) you wish to add/remove.
  7. You also have the option to select all courses, click on the blue tick at the top of the page.
  8. To deselect all courses, click on the red ‘X’ at the top of the page.
  9. Click the arrow button.
