The Interventions module provides a structured approach to creating and completing LOTO (Lock-Out-Tag-Out) processes, ensuring that all steps in the safety procedure are followed properly. These interventions are critical in preventing accidents related to machinery and maintaining a safe working environment.
The system allows you to apply intervention forms and steps to each Intervention. Once an Intervention has been set up, you can then proceed to complete the relevant intervention steps. Statistics and progress related to Interventions can be viewed within the Interventions module and on the system Dashboard.
You must complete a series of steps in order to complete an Intervention. These steps include:
Creating Intervention Forms in Form Builder:
Intervention Forms are required when adding an Intervention to the system, as they are used when setting up Intervention Types and Steps. These forms can be digitised using the Form Builder functionality. Once the Intervention Types and Steps are set up, you can attach the relevant forms, allowing you to add an Intervention and complete the associated form within the system.
Creating Intervention Types:
Intervention types define the series of steps required to complete a LOTO process. These can be customised based on client requirements, allowing flexibility to manage both standard and non-standard LOTO processes.
Creating Intervention Steps:
Each LOTO intervention consists of multiple steps that capture specific data and actions. These steps can be tailored to collect different types of information at various points in the process. Additionally, information captured earlier can be reused later in the workflow. Configuring intervention steps lets you apply an Intervention Steps Form, enabling users to provide detailed information about the intervention. You can also select which signature(s) to include. Before creating intervention steps, you must first set up the corresponding Intervention Steps Forms.
Combining Intervention Steps and Forms to Intervention Types.
Intervention Steps and Forms must be linked to an Intervention Type. This setup ensures that when an Intervention is added to the system, the appropriate steps and forms are automatically applied. Selecting the Intervention Type during setup triggers the inclusion of the associated steps and forms, enabling a structured and consistent intervention process.
