How Do I Upload Supporting Documents to a Change Request?
Adding supporting documents to a change request allows administrators to add more relevant information they feel will be beneficial when requesting a change to a part of the system.
There are two ways to upload a supporting document to a change request:
- Upload a supporting document when adding a change request to the system.
- Upload a supporting document to an existing change request on the system.
1.To upload a supporting document when adding a change request:
- On the left menu, click ‘Change Requests’.
- Click ‘New Change Request'.
- Enter the title and description.
- Select the locations, departments and document controls from the dropdown options.
- Drag and drop the document to the white box or click on the white box and select the document from your files.
- Click ‘Save & Submit’.
2.To upload a supporting document to an existing change request:
- On the left column, go to ‘Change Requests’.
- Click on the change request you want to upload a document to.
- Scroll down to the ‘Change Request Records’ section.
- Drag and drop the document to the white box or click on the white box and select the document from your files.
- Enter any relevant comments and click ‘Save and Submit’.
