How Do I Add a Periodic Notification?

Periodic Notifications are sent based on a predefined timeframe rather than specific system events (triggers). The recipient list can be filtered to ensure that only individuals who meet certain criteria receive the notification - for example, users enrolled in a specific course who have not yet started it.

This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to add a Periodic Notification.

  1. On the left column, click Notifications.
  2. Click +New Periodic Notification.
  3. Enter the Notification Name and Description.
  4. Enter the Email Subject and Email Title.
  5. Enter the Email Body into the text box.
  6. Select the Periodic Notification Type.
  7. Enter the Frequency amount you would like the email to be sent - the number of days you enter is how often the recipient(s) will receive the notification.
