How Do I Add a Subcontractor?


A Subcontractor is a company that is hired by a contractor to carry out specific jobs that matches their skills and expertise. It is important to document Subcontractors on the system to ensure compliance and necessary training is in place.


  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Subcontractors’.
  • Click ‘+ New Subcontractor’.
  • Enter the Subcontractor Name, Contact Name, Contact Email and Phone Number.
  • Choose the Subcontractor Type from the dropdown options.
  • Select Locations and Projects from the dropdown options (you can select multiple).
  • Click ‘Save & Submit’.


  • Note that a contractor will receive an invitation when they have been added to the system.


  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name, contact name, contact email, subcontractor type and location.


  • A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. phone and projects.


This is required before you can add a Subcontractor:

  • Create the Subcontractor Type
  • Set up Locations
  • Set up Projects
  • Set up Notifications


Other Options:

Under the dropdown options, you will see an option to add more subcontractor types, by clicking the ‘Here’ button highlighted. This will take you to the subcontractor types section - be cautious that when you click this button, the details you have entered will be deleted.
