The Projects/Departments Module

The Projects/Departments module includes all projects and departments that have been added to the system, along with their associated details. Administrators have the ability to add new projects and departments to the system.

Assigning Projects/Departments

Project Administrators and Managers can be allocated to existing projects. Once assigned, they are able to access and make changes to those projects.

Subcontractors may be allocated to specific projects where their work is required. Each subcontractor is granted access only to the project(s) they have been assigned.

Subcontractors can assign their employees and sub-subcontractors to a project once the necessary project documentation has been approved. If the required documents have not been approved, the option to assign sub-subcontractors and employees will be unavailable.

Project Requirements and Documentation

Each project can have tailored compliance requirements. These may include documentation for subcontractors and employees, or training requirements for employees.

Project compliance documents can be configured via the ‘Settings’ menu.

Subcontractor administrators and users assigned to a project are able to upload project documentation through their portal.

All project documentation must be approved by an administrator before a contractor or employee is marked as “compliant” for the project.

Project documentation includes:

  1. Subcontractor Project Documents
  2. Employee Project Documents

For each document, you can specify whether it is considered necessary for compliance (“Required”) or not.

Employees with access to the LMS (Learning Management System) can complete any training assigned to them for their allocated project by logging into their portal.

Project Hours

Project hours can be recorded for existing projects. Once hours have been added, the system calculates the total man-hours based on the project’s creation date and the number of employees assigned.
