How Do I Configure a Corrective Action Root Cause?


A Root Cause is the underlying reason for the Corrective Action taking place. It is important to identify the root cause as it can prevent future occurrences and help improve safety in the workplace.


  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘Corrective Action Types’.
  • Click ‘+ New Corrective Action Root Cause’.
  • Enter the name, and description.
  • Click ‘Save & Submit.


  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. the name and description.
