How Do I Create a Risk Assessment Template?

When you are creating a new Risk Assessment, you can save it as a Template. You can then use this template when creating other Risk Assessments.

  • On the left column go to 'Risk Assessments'.
  • Click ‘+New Risk Assessment’.
  • Select the Template and Type from the dropdown options.
  • Enter the Name and Description.
  • Enter the Occurrence Date.
  • Tick who may be harmed.
  • Select Hazards from the dropdown options.
  • Select the person involved, Subcontractors, Location, Project and Accident & Incident.
  • Tick ‘Save as Template’.
  • Select the location on the map where the risk took place.
  • Click ‘Save & Upload’.

The Template will now be saved, and can be selected when you are adding a new Risk Assessment.

  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. type.

This is required before you can create a risk assessment template:

  • Create Templates
  • Create Risk Assessment types
  • Create Hazards
  • Set up Employees
  • Set up Subcontractors
  • Set up Locations
  • Set up Projects
  • Add Accidents and Incidents

Other Options:

  • Under the dropdown options, you will see an option to add more, by clicking the ‘Here’ button highlighted. This will take you to the section - be cautious that when you click this button, the details you have entered will be deleted.
