How Do I Configure Intervention Steps?


Intervention Steps are added to fully complete an intervention and ensure all the necessary procedures are in place. These are added to carry out an intervention thoroughly and with the required actions to prevent incidents and maintain a safe workplace.


  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘Intervention Steps’.
  • Click ‘+ New Intervention Step’.
  • Enter the Name and Description.
  • Tick the box if you wish to enable Notifications, Lockout points, Lock box or if the step needs confirmation.
  • Select the Intervention Steps form from the dropdown options.
  • Tick the box if the forms must be unlocked.
  • Select if you want the LOTO Specialist, Equipment Owner, Subcontractor and Affected Worker to be included in the intervention steps signatures.
  • Click ‘Save & Submit’.


  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name.


  • A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. description and form.
