Why am I Seeing an Error When Trying to Inspect Equipment?
An error may occur when a user attempts to carry out an inspection on equipment if they are not correctly assigned to the relevant project or location. To prevent this, the user must be properly assigned to both the project and location associated with the equipment.
To check which project and location has been assigned to the piece of equipment:
- On the left column, go to Plant.
- Click on the piece of equipment that is relevant to the inspection.
- Scroll down to the Projects and Locations section. This section shows which project and location has been assigned to the piece of equipment.
- To change the project or location, select the preferred one from the dropdown options and click Save Changes.
To check if a user has been correctly allocated to a project or location to carry out an inspection:
- On the left column, go to Projects or Locations.
- Click on the project/location that has been assigned to the equipment.
- Scroll down to People.
- If the users name is not in this section, click Allocate/Deallocate People.
- Two sections will show Select to Add and Select to Remove with a list of people.
- Tick the box(es) you wish to add.
- Click the arrow button.
- Click Close.
The user will now be able to carry out inspections on the piece of equipment that has the relevant project and location assigned.
