How Do I Request an Exemption from a Course?



Administrators and employees can request an exemption if the requirement cannot be met. When an exemption is requested, it will have to be acknowledged from the client administrator and will be approved or rejected. If the request has been rejected, the user must complete the course in order to be compliant. If the exemption has been accepted, it will last for the duration of the course until the expiry date.


To request an exemption from a course as an administrator:

  • On the left column, go to ‘People’.
  • Click on the user you want to request an exemption.
  • Scroll down to ‘Online Training’.
  • Beside the course that is relevant to the exemption, click ‘More’ and click ‘Request N/A’.
  • A notice will show stating the exemption may take some time to approve, and the user will not be able to access the site until the exemption has been granted and all other compliance is in place. You can also add comments here.
  • Click 'Save & Submit'.


To request an exemption from a course as an employee:

  • On the left column, go to 'Locations'.
  • Click on the location the training has been allocated to.
  • Go to 'Online Training'.
  • Under the 'Actions' heading, click 'Request Exemption' beside the relevant course.
  • A notice will show stating the exemption may take some time to approve, and you will not be able to access the site until the exemption has been granted and all other compliance is in place. You can also add comments here.
  • Click 'Save & Submit'.
