How Do I Request an Exemption from a Course?

Administrators and employees can request an exemption if a requirement cannot be met. Once an exemption is requested, it must be acknowledged by the client administrator and will either be approved or rejected. If the request is rejected, the user must complete the course to remain compliant. If the exemption is approved, it will remain valid for the duration of the course, up to its expiry date.


To Request an Exemption From a Course as an Administrator:

  1. On the left column, go to People.
  2. Click on the learner.
  3. Scroll down to Online Training.
  4. Beside the course that is relevant to the exemption, click More and click Request N/A.
  5. Click Save & Submit.


To Request an Exemption From a Course as a Learner:

  1. On the left column, go to Locations.
  2. Click on the location the training has been allocated to.
  3. Go to Online Training.
  4. Under the Actions heading, click Request Exemption beside the relevant course.
  5. Click Save & Submit.
