The Locations Module - EHS
The Locations module includes all locations that have been added to the system and their details. Administrators can add locations to the system.
Assigning Locations
Location Administrators and Managers can be assigned to existing locations. When administrators are assigned to a location, they can access and make changes to the location.
Subcontractors can be assigned to the specific locations they are required to do work at. Each Subcontractor company only has access to the details of the locations they have been assigned to.
Subcontractors can assign employees and sub-subcontractors to a location when their required location documents are approved. If the required documents are not approved, the option to assign sub-subcontractors and employees to the location is not available.
Location Requirements and Documents
It is possible to create specific compliance requirements for each location. These can be Subcontractor and Employee documents or Employee training requirements.
Location compliance documents can be configured in the ‘Settings’ menu.
Subcontractor administrators and people who are assigned to a location can upload location documents from their portal.
Location documents must be approved by an administrator before a contractor or employee shows as “compliant” for the location.
Location Documents include:
For each document it is possible to select whether it should be taken into account for compliance (“Required”) or not.
Employees who have access to the LMS (Learning Management System) can complete training that is assigned to the location they are in by logging into their portal.
Location hours
Location hours can be added to existing locations. When hours are added to a location, the system calculates the total man-hours based on the creation date of the location and the number of employees within the location.
Location coordinates
The Location coordinates functionality allows the user to select the geographical location on a map. This functionality is available at an additional cost to add to the system.
