Why is a QR Code Not Recognised in the App?

If users attempt to scan the public QR code using the scanner within the dulann app, they may receive a message indicating that the code is not recognised. This is expected behaviour.

The QR codes that are displayed around sites are designed to work when scanned using a standard mobile phone camera or an external QR code scanning tool. When scanned outside of the app, the code will direct the user to the correct page to submit an item.

At this time, these public QR codes are not supported by the scanner within the dulann app. If users are accessing the system through the app, they should instead navigate to the correct section to log the item manually.

To submit an item from within the app, open Services, select the module, choose View All, and then tap + New… to create a new record. This ensures the item is properly recorded within the system.
