If an employee’s course is showing progress as incomplete, but there is no “Unlock” button available for the practical assessment, this is usually due to the course having already been unlocked previously.
When a course has already been unlocked in the past, the system will not display the unlock option again. Instead, the practical assessment stage remains pending until it is properly completed and recorded.
To check this, navigate to the employee’s Course page and hover your mouse over the small information (i) icon located beside the course status. This will display details of the practical assessment, including the location and date it was originally unlocked.
In these cases, the practical assessment was unlocked but the assessment itself was not completed or recorded in the system. To resolve the issue, the practical assessment must be filled in and saved. Once completed, the course will move to fully compliant status.
