Why am I Unable to Perform Vehicle Inspections as an Administrator?


When configuring administrators on the system, the Vehicle Authorised option is available to select, allowing the administrator to conduct vehicle inspections. If this option is not ticked, the administrator will be unable to carry out vehicle inspections. However, this setting can be amended for existing administrators.


To Enable Administrators to Perform Vehicle Inspections When Setting up an Administrator:

  1. On the left column, click Administrators.
  2. Click New Administrator.
  3. Enter the First and Last name, Email Address, Position, and Staff Number.
  4. Choose the Role from the dropdown options.
  5. Tick the box(es) if the administrator is Vehicle Authorised and/or if they are the Area Owner.


To Enable Existing Administrators to Perform Vehicle Inspections:

  1. On the left column, click Administrators.
  2. Click the relevant administrator.
  3. Tick the Vehicle Authorised option.
  4. Click Save Changes.
