How Do I Configure a Reactive Maintenance Type?
The Reactive Maintenance Module is used to manage and record maintenance tasks triggered by equipment faults or breakdowns. This type of maintenance focuses on repairing or replacing faulty machinery to restore normal operation. When creating a Reactive Maintenance task, you’ll need to assign it a type, which automatically includes the necessary forms.
This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to configure a Reactive Maintenance Type.
- On the left side menu, go to Settings and click Reactive Maintenance Types.
- Click +New Reactive Maintenance Type.
- Enter the Name and Description of the type.
- Choose the Initial Report and Investigation Report from the dropdown options.
- Click Save & Submit.
This is required before you can add a Reactive Maintenance Type:
- Digitise your Initial Report Form
- Digitise your Investigation Report Form
- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name.
- A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. description and report forms - be cautious that when you click this button, the details you have entered will be deleted.
Other Options:
- Under the dropdown options you might see an option to add more forms by clicking the ‘Here’ button, this link will take you to the form builder section where you can create a new initial report and/or investigation report form - be cautious that when you click this button, the details you have entered will be deleted.
