If your dashboard is displaying an accident even though there has not been a lost time accident, the issue may be related to how the dashboard tile is configured.
The “Days Since Last Accident” dashboard tile typically pulls information directly from the accident records submitted through your EHS Accident form. By default, the tile counts all recorded accidents within that form. This means it does not automatically distinguish between different types or severities of incidents, such as lost time accidents versus minor incidents or near misses that may still be recorded in the system.
Because of this, any accident logged in the form can reset the counter and cause the dashboard to display a recent accident. As a result, the tile may show an accident even if there has been no lost time accident.
If you want the tile to reflect lost time accidents only, you can refine the dashboard filtering by using Accident Classifications.
To do this, you first need to create classifications for different types of accidents in the system settings.

After these classifications are in place, you can update the dashboard tile to include a filter that only counts accidents with the Lost Time Accident classification. This ensures the tile reflects the specific type of incident you want to track and prevents smaller incidents from resetting the counter.
