How Do I Activate and De-activate Notifications?

Administrators can activate and de-activate general notifications and periodic notifications.

When notifications are active, they will be sent to the selected recipients. Inactive notifications will not be sent to the selected recipients, but they will still be accessible on the system.


To activate a notification:

  1. On the left column, go to ‘Notifications’.
  2. Under the Status column, click the green bell icon beside the relevant notification.
  3. A pop-up notification will show asking if you are sure you want to change the status, click ‘Save & Submit’.

The notification you have activated will now be sent to the recipients that are selected for the notification.


To De-activate a notification:

  1. On the left column, go to ‘Notifications’.
  2. Under the Status column, click the red bell icon beside the relevant notification.
  3. A pop-up notification will show asking if you are sure you want to change the status, click ‘Save & Submit’.

If you have de-activated a periodic notification, any future dated notifications will not be sent to the selected recipients.
