How Do I Configure an Issue & Opportunity Record Type?


An Issue and Opportunity can be recorded in the system to assist in identifying any problems within the workplace and in highlighting areas for improvement. An Issue & Opportunity Record Type is used when logging an issue or opportunity, as it helps ensure that all necessary documentation and information are included and compliant.


Additional Issue and Opportunity Record Types are automatically added to Issue and Opportunities to provide extra details, such as photos, videos and documents.


This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to configure an Issue & Opportunity Record Type.


  1. On the left side menu, go to Settings and click Issue & Opportunity Types.
  2. Click +New Issue & Opportunity Record Type.
  3. Enter the Name, and Description.
  4. Click Save & Submit.


  1. A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name.


  1. A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. description.
