How Do I Configure a Corrective Action Root Cause?


A root cause is the underlying reason for a corrective action being undertaken. Identifying the root cause is important, as it can help prevent future occurrences and contribute to improved safety in the workplace.


  1. On the left side menu, go to Settings and click Corrective Action Types.
  2. Click New Corrective Action Root Cause.
  3. Enter the Name, and Description.
  4. Click Save & Submit.


  1. A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. the name and description.
