How Do I Configure a Corrective Action Root Cause?
A corrective action root cause is the underlying reason why a problem, incident, or non-compliance occurred, which the corrective action aims to eliminate to prevent recurrence. Example of Root Causes include human error, lack of training, or equipment failure.
This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to configure a corrective action root cause.
- On the left side menu, go to Settings and click Corrective Action Types.
- Click +New Corrective Action Root Cause.
- Enter the Name, and Description of the root cause.
- Click Save & Submit.
- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. the name and description.
