How Do I Configure Trainee Document Types?

 

Adding trainee document types to the system can help categorise trainee documents.


  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘Trainee Document Types’.
  • Click ‘New Trainee Document Type’.
  • Enter the name and description.
  • Select the Entity and Document Type from the dropdown options.
  • The following options are provided:
  • Required – the document is required for compliance
  • Only .pdf are allowed – only .pdf file types are allowed
  • Private – the document is only viewable by an administrator
  • Expiry Required – an expiry date is required
  • Enter the months and days default expiry date.
  • Click ‘Save & Submit’.



  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields.


  • A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work.
