How Do I Configure a Stock Item Type?
The Inventory Module allows you to register and manage all items kept in stock for maintenance purposes. Adding a Stock Item Type to the system can help categorise the inventory.
- On the left column, go to Settings and click Stock Item Types.
- Click New Stock Item Type.
- Enter the Name and Description.
- Enter the Minimum Quantity.
- Click Save & Submit.
- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name.
- A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. description and minimum quantity.
