How Do I Add a Reactive Maintenance?
The Reactive Maintenance Module is used to manage and record maintenance tasks triggered by equipment faults or breakdowns. This type of maintenance focuses on repairing or replacing faulty machinery to restore normal operation. Once reported, the corresponding Reactive Maintenance Tasks will appear in this section.
This article includes step-by-step instructions on how to add a Reactive Maintenance.
- On the left column, go to Reactive Maintenances.
- Click +New Reactive Maintenance.
- Enter the Name and Description of the reactive maintenance.
- Enter the Due Date - this is the date the maintenance takes place.
- Select the Responsible(s) from the dropdown options.
- Select the Reactive Maintenance Type from the dropdown options.
- Tick the relevant box(es)
- Is it necessary to complete a Simple Risk Assessment - this includes planned maintenance which is conducted before machinery is used.
- Is it necessary to complete an intervention - LOTO (lock-out-tag-out) interventions are critical in preventing accidents related to machinery and maintaining a safe working environment.
- If this option is selected, a series of dropdown options will show which will allow you to enter all the relevant requirements to complete an intervention.
- Is it necessary to complete a risk assessment - completing risk assessments is essential in helping to prevent accidents by recording relevant details, identifying risks, and implementing control measures.
- If this option is selected, a dropdown will appear where you must select a Digitised Form that you have created for the reactive maintenance.
- Select the Subcontractor(s), Machineries, and Inventory from the dropdown options - Subcontractors must be assigned to one or more locations in order to use the system, as this information is necessary for actions such as setting up employees or accepting jobs.
- When you select an inventory, a bar will show indicating the amount of stock items present, and you can choose the amount of Stock Items you wish to apply by moving the bar.
- Click Save & Submit.

- Digitise a Form

- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields i.e. name, due date, responsible, type and machineries.
- A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. description, subcontractors and inventory.
