How Do I Upload Supporting Documents to a Change Request?

Adding supporting documents to a change request allows administrators to add more relevant information they feel will be beneficial when requesting a change to a part of the system.


There are two ways to upload a supporting document to a change request:

  1. Upload a supporting document when adding a change request to the system.
  2. Upload a supporting document to an existing change request on the system.


1.To upload a supporting document when adding a change request:

  1. On the left menu, click ‘Change Requests’.
  2. Click ‘New Change Request'.
  3. Enter the title and description.
  4. Select the locations, departments and document controls from the dropdown options.
  5. Drag and drop the document to the white box or click on the white box and select the document from your files.
  6. Click ‘Save & Submit’.


2.To upload a supporting document to an existing change request:

  1. On the left column, go to ‘Change Requests’.
  2. Click on the change request you want to upload a document to.
  3. Scroll down to the ‘Change Request Records’ section.
  4. Drag and drop the document to the white box or click on the white box and select the document from your files.
  5. Enter any relevant comments and click ‘Save and Submit’.
