How Do I Configure Periodic Inspections for Equipment and Vehicles?
It is important to carry out inspections on equipment and vehicles to ensure they are safe for use. Periodic inspections involve specifying a set time frame - such as months and days - for when equipment and vehicles should be inspected. This inspection schedule can be applied to existing equipment and vehicle types within the system.
To Add a Periodic Inspection to Equipment Types:
- On the left menu, go to Settings and click Equipment Libraries.
- Click on the equipment type you want to add the periodic inspection to.
- Enter the Inspection Period Months and days.
- Click Save Changes.
To Add a Periodic Inspection to Vehicles Types:
- On the left menu, go to Settings and click Vehicle Types.
- Click on the vehicle type you want to add the periodic inspection to.
- Enter the Inspection Period Months, and Days.
- Click Save Changes.
- A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields.
- A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work i.e. occurrence date, issued by, project and location.
This is required before you can add the module:
- Set up Plant Types.
- Set up Vehicle Types.
