Audits Module Overview
Audits are carried out across the workplace to assess compliance and evaluate health and safety practices, ensuring a safe environment for everyone within the organisation. Conducting an audit provides valuable insight into a company’s policies and procedures, helping to determine whether they meet required standards and whether appropriate measures are in place. Audits can be scheduled at regular intervals, such as weekly or monthly. The system enables audits to be documented and includes a trend analysis feature for identifying patterns over time.
Documenting Audits
When creating a new audit, the system requires basic details including the audit type, completion date, location, and associated project. Once this information is entered, administrators can complete the relevant forms linked to that audit type. These audit forms can be digitised using the Form Builder module. Multiple forms may be linked to a single audit type, allowing audits to be completed and scored section by section.
Audit Scores and Trend Analysis
Audit scores are automatically calculated once the relevant forms are completed. Scoring parameters, including weighted scores, can be configured within the digitised forms.
The system’s trend analysis feature helps to identify recurring patterns and trends across audits over time. This is particularly useful for predicting potential risks and highlighting areas in need of improvement. Each audit includes a score summary.
Data can be filtered by specific time periods, and drop-down filters are available to sort results by audit type, location, and project.
Status and Approval
Administrators have the ability to approve or reject audits, ensuring that they are thoroughly and accurately documented.
Approved audits will be disable for all system users except full administrators.
The audit status options include:
Creating Audit Forms in Form Builder
The first step in conducting an audit is creating the relevant audit forms within the Form Builder module. These digitised forms can capture detailed information about the audit and the organisation being assessed. They also support document uploads and comment sections for additional context.
Custom Identifier Settings
The system allows users to customise audit identification numbers through the System Settings functionality. This includes the option to configure multiple identification tags—such as date, audit type, name, and others—to create a more detailed audit reference.
Corrective actions can be linked to audits to address and track the root causes of any identified issues.
