We have introduced a suite of powerful enhancements to the E-Permit module, designed to provide deeper control over who can sign, when they can sign, and where the work is taking place

1. Role-Based Permissions: You can now assign specific User Roles to individual sections of an E-Permit. This ensures that only authorized personnel (e.g., Site Managers or Safety Officers) can complete their designated parts of the permit
2. External Signatures: You can now include out-of-system signatures, which are automatically highlighted in a different color to maintain a clear audit trail
3. Minimum time to sign: Configure a specific time window that must pass before an E-Permit can be signed or exported, ensuring that necessary inspections or safety briefings have actually occurred
4. Areas Integration: E-Permits now include the Areas module
5. Grace days for steps:Define the number of days a step is available to be completed before the permit start date. Setting this to 0 means the step becomes available on the start date. Leaving it blank allows the step to be completed at any time
