How Do I Configure an E-Permit Type?


Adding an E-Permit Type to the system can help categorise the E-Permit.


  • On the left side menu, go to ‘Settings’ and click ‘E-Permit Types’.
  • Click ‘+ New E- permit Type’.
  • Enter the Name, and Description.
  • Select the Colour and enter the Maximum duration of the permit.
  • Tick the box if the permit closing requires an administrator’s approval, if it is a general permit, if the permit can have work permits and the work permits are filled daily.


  • You have the option to add steps to the E-Permit - Application, Awaiting Approval, Signature, Post Approval and Close Out:
  • Click the ‘+Add step’ button.
  • Enter the Name and select the Form from the dropdown options.
  • Select the Role from the dropdown options (you can select multiple).
  • Tick the box if the step requires administrator approval.
  • If you want to remove a step, click the ‘Remove Step’ button.
  • Click 'Save & Submit'.


  • A field with a red asterisk beside it means it is required and you will not be able to complete your work without filling in these fields.


  • A field without a red asterisk beside it means the field is not required, although it may be helpful to fill these out to complete your work.

  • Digitise your Permit Form
  • Set up Roles
